Cards, Cards and More Cards!

Just thought I would share a few more of the cards I have been working on lately.
The first two are made from the upcoming Kaisercraft Pitter Patter Collection. I used the 6.5inch paper pad, collectables and journal card sheet of 12x12 paper for both the boys and girls collection.

The third card is an easel style and has also been made using anothe upcoming Kaisercraft Collection called Be-YOU-tiful. I have once agin used the 6.5inch paper pad, collectables and the journal sheet of 12x12 paper.

Hope you enjoyed a few of my ideas for these upcoming collections :-)

Old Jean Bag!

I know this is not a paper crafting item, but my other passion is fabrics and sewing. As I have had a run with my jeans getting holes at the moment, I wanted to try making one of the jean bags that I have seen all over the internet at the moment.
So this is my creation, I have lined it with drill and added two hidden zipper pockets to the inside lining. I added a wallet chain off one of the belt loops to clip my keys too and pop in the pockets as I have a habit of losing them in my bag.
The other advantage to this bag is that it is completely washable, love that fact :-)

White with One Challenge - Mint

As you know I am trying out a few different challenge sites at the moment. With that I have been following White with One for a while now and this month I thought I would take a leap and give it ago. This month challenge is:

http://whitewith1.blogspot.com.au/2014/04/april-challenge.html

So with some thinking and constant changing of my mind this is my finally design layout. I created my background with Distress Ink, Perfect Pearl Mist and some stenciling with white paint.

Turf Bunny...

I just wanted to share a little beyond the page project I did today.
I picked up this gorgeous little Turf Bunny at the local supermarket the other day for a couple of dollars. She was cute as is but i thought it really wasn't all that in the spirit of Easter. So with that in mind I went through my piles of odds and ends (those bits that we just have to keep for some reason) and found some bits of gingham ribbon in pastels and some left over flowers form other pages.
I removed the raffia bow from around her neck and replaced it with the a bow made by tying all four pastel ribbons at once into a bow, then spreading the bow out in a fan. As for her tiara of flowers I started with the center flower (pink) and then worked back by twisting the wire around each other to create a row of the three flowers, than cut of the excess leaving enough to curl behind her ear to help hold it on.
I had fun adding a little more Easter to my bunny and I hope you liked it to...

Sweet Dreams - 1-2-3 Challenge Blog

As part of my new approach to my never ending scrapping i have decided to work on the current photos and then when i have time go back and work on the older stuff as i am feeling that i will never catch up!
 With this approach i decide to try out doing one of the 1-2-3 Challenge blog challenges. For the March Challenge i had a guide line of:

COLOUR = PASTELS
WORD = DREAM
TECHNIQUE = FRAMES

With this in mind i went through some of my freshly printed 2014 photos (lol) and found these gorgous pictures of her sleeping with her Cheeter ears still on!  I started with old K&Company papers from my stash and thought the pastel tones would be perfect. I know i had keep them for so long for a reason! I created the frame from a Collections Chipboard piece and then used Distress Paints, Glimmer Mist  and clear embossing power with a script stamp. I also cut some clouds from some left over vellum and cut the quilted paper into all the different sections.  I loved making this page and enjoyed doing the 1-2-3 Challenge Blog Challenge.

K&Company - Older paper ranges
Bazzill - French Vanilla
Collections - 3 Frame
Distess Ink - Victorian Velvet
Distress Paint - Antique Linen
Stickles - Frosted Lace
 Clear Embossing powder
Ribbon
Vellum Scraps
